& Vegetarian Weight Loss Plan.
We all want to look better, feel healthy and lose weight without feeling run down and tired from too much exercise. The Vegetarian Weight loss plan is the perfect addition to weight loss and fat burning. What I want to talk about here are some tips for you to think about before you start your vegetarian diet. Vegetarian weight loss is a very big topic today, what we really want to do is burn fat and have a lean healthy body. You will want to keep an eye on the following to keep your new diet balanced. Complex Carbohydrates: For weight loss keep your grain consumption moderate, maybe a serving of rice every day is a good way to get your carbohydrates but don’t overdo it. The amount of carbohydrates you consume should depend on your activity level. If your activity level is high add more complex carbohydrates. Rice products are great for getting healthy carbs; you might want to try rice tortillas and rice crackers to stay away from the allergens in soy, wheat and corn. If you have a reaction to the products stay with rice for your complex carbohydrates. Healthy Fats: We need fats in our diet preferably virgin olive oil, coconut oil or avocadoes. These healthy fats help our bodies’ burn fat. You can use olive oil or coconut oil on salads or for frying and just plain coconut is great on anything. I also love avocadoes, guacamole anyone? Proteins: The best protein for weight loss is a low sodium cottage cheese, when choosing your protein make sure you are getting at least 15mg per serving. You can also use low sodium tofu or protein shakes. Make sure you are getting plenty of protein to balance out your sugar levels from the fruits and vegetables you eat. Keeping plenty of protein in your diet will also help you burn fat and keep your energy levels high. Activity: Mornings are the best time for increased activity. Go for a walk or to the store. Doing something in the morning keeps us burning fat all day. Also consume plenty of fluids in the morning, water or tea to help cleanse the body of toxin; I usually drink a quart of water and a few cups of my favorite green tea. Use these tips when you are choosing your menu and you will have a good balance in your new vegetarian diet. The above video is my friend Laura from the United Kingdom.
